I like coco better, perlite doesn’t hold enough moisture, those coco coins are good. Its that air moisture ratio, damp, not wet. Low, low lighr, like real low or they try and grow and die, 80%. 75 F. I wholeheartedly agree with @moistcube. One thing is the temp can go up to 80 if you have the humidity at 80 as well. Mine seem to root quicker a few degrees warmer.
If you use Clonex gel, it will help speed up the rooting.

In almost the same situation here. I decided to go the aero cloner route and built one out of a 2 gal home depot bucket, 1/2″ pvc, an ac infinity 230 gph pump and 6 spray emitter getting 2 more emitters to even out the spray.
