2 months agoAsk a Grow Question Growing theses in grow dots and autopots starting to see a little fade on the leaf tips should i be concerned or just let em ride?

Do you water anything in or supplement your feed with anything? If so, how often, how much, and of what?

@GuppyGirl just power si silica in the res 0.5ml per gallon ph to about 6.3
Oh ya I almost forgot I do a light top water one a week with recharge 1/2tsp gallon

@badpapa how much water do you use when you do that? I try to do no more than about a liter per plant, every 4 to 5 days. The Grow Dots are water soluble, so if you top water in too much, you can “speed up” your plants with too high a level of nutrients, which will then show signs of nutrient burn. Adding si should be fine I assume since @scottyreal tells people to add it all the time on the show.

@GuppyGirl I’ve been pretty light on the top watering but I may have went a little to heavy on that one seems it’s the only one showing the light fade. It would make sense. I’ve got them in the two pot system so it was kind confusing. Will go a little lighter on next recharge dose see if that helps
