I have the same issue, the 250g bags as well. I now just fold the top and secure it with a clip and I wont buy them again. they are expensive and I can see they wont last forever despite me using them for longterm storage. I open them weekly not daily. once a week from the bag to a jar.
other than that I think they do their job quite well. -

Reply to H2O2 to dechlorinate water when planning to use Recharge?
I hate to be that guy but I have to ask because I just can’t get my head around it:
Can you actually dechlorinate water with H2O2? Wouldn’t you just get (ideally) ClO2 which outgases on its own but slower than Cl2 or (worst) chlorates and chlorides?
anyway I can’t see why anyone would bother with H2O2 (or anything else) to get rid of Cl2 when…
