I used to see that a lot when popping large numbers of seeds in soil back in the day (before there was online help). I figured out overtime that it was just the nutrients in the soil being too hot for babies…

Good point, you can return about anything to the big-box stores if it ends up not being sturdy enough.

I tend to go for metal where I can as even the small amount of Uv that a grow light put off will make quick work of plastic.

Okay the spider farmer “Vanity” tent/display that inspired this is basically never going to arrive due to spider farmers in ability to fill orders in a timely manner even though I was told my order was filled in the first run.
