3 weeks agoAsk a Grow Question 3 weeks agoHey guys and gals. Hey just got my Real buckets was wondering does anyone know what Scotty recommends as far as adding perilite to Coco. How much if so. i usually use Coco loco with Grow dots and recharge with great results never used a bottom water system wondering what He recommends thanks. Y’all

Perlite is not needed as it’s only purpose is drainage and lowers cation exchange capacity. Quality coco has an excellent water to oxygen ratio and doesn’t need filler. I wouldn’t use more than 10% in a bottom feeding system.

The URL of where they get it from is on the side of the tubing. I haven’t looked yet, but I bet it’s there.

BT is safe to use up until harvest. If you’re worried about residue just bud wash after harvest. Most do for outdoor anyway.

I wonder, if a guy had a walk in cooler, could you just let them roll at 50 degrees for a day or two and fuck those caterpillars up with no spray?
