I put mine in pretty loose. It packs itself quite well over time

Top watering will help compact it quickly. I put it in pretty heavy personally.

Mine goes in kinda medium. I want the roots to be supported, but not crushed in any way. Watering does compact it a little. I put my clones in pretty deep. Watering in Recharge every 4 to 5 days, it slowly exposed more of the plant, a bit. I can’t really add Coco because I mix my nutrients into it directly, and they’re time released.

3 months agoAsk a Grow Question 3 months agoHey peeps, I just got done mixing hydro solutions and made a mess for the second time. What do you hydro folks do to keep solution isolated and transfer clean. I am brand new to hydro and tired of cleaning up mess. Too many paper towels. I was thinking individual pipettes for each solution?

I use graduated cylinders.

I use those shot glasses, but they’re tough if it’s under 15 mm. Pipets are the answer for 10 mils and under.☮️

I use a pipettor. I just have a dedicated pipette stuck to each bottle with a magnet.

I am slowly recovering from starting seeds with sub par worm castings or they were old, either way my seedlings are starving and I’m playing catch up with a low dose of “Honey Chome” from Emerald Forest. I haven’t been able to make it to the grow store for Recharge either. I’m excited about…

I started Durbin and Maui from dr. blaze. I hope they turnout, if not though, the search is on. Those are me and my wife’s favs. I had Maui before and it was great, but lost the mother to bad environmental conditions. Never grown Durbin.
