I have an auto that is already 90 days from seed.
Buds formed, nothing is super chunky and developed. She looks she has another 60 days.
Its in my flower tent under 12/12 550 PPFD.
Should I move her to 18/6 schedule to finish her up or just keep it where it is?
The genetic says 75 from seed and we are alreadg 100 days in with lots to go! Interested to see some Auto Pros thoughts.
Genetics: Barneys farm Cookie Kush auto

Autos need a longer DLI. On 12-12 they’ll under-perform. You want to give them 18+ hours of light a day.

@jmystro thank you Sir! I’ll throw them in my veg daycare and see how they perform! Updates in 2 weeks!

That would’ve drove me crazy being at 100+ days in lol. I’ve yet to go over 80 days from sprout, I’ve been on a perpetual harvest with auto’s for just over a year now. Two plants at a time but never the same one twice. Even though auto’s can do well with less light, you want the light on longer and more intense. Try 18/6 light schedule at like 650ppfd. I run a 20 on/4 off schedule the entire time, I’ll only go down to 18/6 in warmer months if the light is making the tent too hot. It’d be nice if the cost of cooling was as cheap as heating.

@SlamFM I know I should have asked but I’m like maybe my days are off! I checked time stamp of a photo and then it hit me.
I moved her to her the veg room with 18/6 with a solid 450+ PPFD.-
@CougheeBros yeah, light is pretty crucial when it comes to flower production. When it comes to cannabis, staying on the lower end of things like when feeding, is the best idea but with light I think it’s kinda opposite and maybe go a little high than you think. It’s a learning experience though and for me personally, learning is one the most enjoyable parts of growing. I live in prohibition land so I’ve had to teach myself along the way.
