Nitrogen deficiency affects lower leaves first…and then works it’s way up. Calcium deficiency presents as “rust spots”.

You would have to know more about what you have going on. This could be a pH issue leading to deficiencies or an outright deficiency. Be leary of anyone who says they can just take a look and tell you. It’s complicated

7 weeks agoAsk a Grow Question 7 weeks agoMy girls have 3 weeks of flower left. My HUMIDITY is WAY HIGH . Sleep time it gets up to 91% at times. I bought a dehumidifier and it is too small evidently. MY QUESTION IS CAN I LEAVE MY FLAP OPEN AT NIGHT ??? … ………there more than likely would be a light leak!! Will it hurt my girls that late in flower??? I think maybe it wouldn’t really…

Get a charcoal air filter sheet use it over your flaps. No leaks. Also get a better humidifier and turn your output on your exhaust fan to go 24/7 until you get your better dehumidifier and just open the flaps until you get the charcoal air filter sheets in the mail. Shouldn’t herm. You will get bud rot at such a high rh

If your lights are on at night then you can leave the flap open. I have mine open a lot during lights on. Will it help? Probably as long as the humidity is lower in the room.
The comment about the exhaust fan was referring to pulling the moist air out so I think he was trying to help. I also think Farmville meant ‘dehumidifier’ from reading…

Go online and order this or get the exact model with a pump from the store. That’ll help your lung room not be moist. If you want your tent to be in the right range you need to treat the room it’s pulling air from.

if this is happening more on the top of the plant it could be from light stress, you may need to dim your lights. more pictures and more info about your environment and grow style will help to diagnose the issue.

Look the plant is yellow from lock out. What media are you growing in? I would prepare 1 gallon of water , pH’d to 6.5, then sit my plant in it until saturated. Let drain on its side. Then wait. Don’t do anything without taking time to check. Also you may need to recalibrate your pH pen.

3 months agoAsk a Grow Question 3 months agoI mix 4 ml of nutes in one gallon of water. If I mix two gallons at the same time do I add 8 ml? Or stay at 4 ml ? I’m all confused

4 ml/gal for 2 gallons would be 8 ml.

If you double the water, you cut the end mixture strength in half (diluted to 50%).
Put 4ml in for each gallon to stay at 100% strength.

3 months agoAsk a Grow Question 3 months agoCan bottle nutrients go bad ? My bottles have floaters of salt or something…. My plants are suffering badly and I’ve changed nothing from my past grows that were a success. Only thing I can find different is the stuff in the nutes.. thank u I’m stumped

Yes, most bottled products have a shelf life. Replace them asap.

My rule of thumb is 2 year shelf life and a 1 year if it’s opened
