Sure I’ll do that, not hard to put a little box beside the case and prop it up with that.

As long as there’s moisture, the seedling can come completely out of it’s shell before transplanting so don’t feel any need to rush. Most wait until the tap root is about an inch long. Don’t lay the paper towel flat. Prop the paper towel up vertical so the tap root can form perfectly straight down between the fold.

They are autos. I will do as suggest and wait. Should I reorient the one with the taproot so it doesn’t grow into the side of the case?
I started my other plants in Aerogarden Sprout units so it was pretty easy to tell. When the roots escaped the little pod I transplanted. But since Aerogarden is shutting down I can’t really rely on those units…

Do I plant the guy on the left today since its ready or leave it to wait for the 2nd seed to go before planting both?
How long do I let the taproot develop before planting?

Half the seeds germinated. I’ve heard white seeds were low germination rate but it popped the taproot first!
