I have two questions about meters…
PPM when I measured my feed water it was at 771 then I measured the excess it was 2053. I did notice there was particles from the soil which I think is skewing the measurements. Do I need to filter the excess water somehow?
Second, while using the Photon app that Scotty uses, it says..that I need a filter. Any idea what kind of filter?
Thanks!

If you’re watering in at 771 ppm and the run off is 2053 ppm, you’re over feeding them. Plants consume far more water than minerals. Without proper runoff, salts will form during dry backs. This will eventually lead to pH swings and lockout.

Rookie mistake all around…what I meant was TDS. But thanks!

And once again sorry just figured out it’s one in the same…no wonder it made so much sense.
