Cold soil temps can make leafier buds but it’s really a genetics thing so I would look into breeders that breed for that in my experience solfire has a lot of crosses that are more bud then leaf

Calyx to leaf ratio can be manipulated a bit but structure is mainly genetic. Certain root stresses and too much nitrogen available in late flower will induce leafier plants.

I grew this Chocolate Thai Auto from Blimburn and it is covered in red hairs, not too leafy, big buds. But it didn’t really have a strong effect. No real body effect. I end up doing the dishes or vacuuming after I smoke it.

6 months agoAsk a Grow Question 6 months agoThis is my first run of photos, I’ve had a couple successful auto grows. I have 2 Badazz OG plants from Ripper Seeds in the third week of flower and the leaves seem to be yellowing. I’m using grow dots and recharge in coco and fabric pots drinking from a wick. I didn’t know if its a deficiency, too much water, or just normal? Last run I used a…

Magnesium deficiency, or potassium toxicity causing interveinal chlorosis, one or the other

You’re wicking from the bottom for watering. I think that’s it. Your plants aren’t getting any nutrients from your grow dots. You need to keep the medium moist I believe. I would water from the top and see if things don’t change in a few days.

The one on the left stays saturated but the one on the right doesn’t like as much water, and has been that way since the start. But the one on the left smells way skunkier.
