Leaf deformities tend to to be caused by some type of root stress brought on quickly. Typically from an out of range pH or root pests.

Why did this work without root rot?
Water temperature and O2 levels. High water temps and a lack of oxygen cause Pythium.

Oh the expensive but extremely informative school of experience! No need to lower pH slowly, if it’s in flower in dirt, get her down to 6.4 right now and start stacking bud sites. The first 3 weeks of flower is very crucial to how much weed you’ll end up getting.
