@smoking-goat Based on what? Trichomes on a leaf? Did you notice that tiny calyx?

Never judge trichomes on leaves. They form first and will mature first. You need to scope the trichomes on the bud. The calyx will swell from a tiny oval (like in pic) to an almost circular false seed pod as well when mature. I see a very immature calyx with a viable stigma ‘hair’ ready to accept pollen. This pic doesn’t show enough but from what I can see it’s very far away.

When you start seeing the 90-95% milky and 5-10% amber I like to chop then..but, for a more sedative, body type effects you could go another week but again this boils down to preference and having some experience with one particular strain and a few harvests.

@moondog_genetics Again, as Jmystro mentions use a scope on the buds not the leaves, which fan trichs mature quicker.

Is this girl outdoors? 1 other thing I would add, Is try to check a bud that you haven’t been finger fucking to check the terps on because a bruised tricomb will darken in color also

@Backwoods_mountain_grower yes it’s outdoors and I try not to touch them much unless i see a bug on a leaf but my bug problem has been very minimal.

I grew an original glue outside in earth box. Total gas. It should start turning a little purple then wait some more. It will be worth it. Get your iPhone in magnetize mode and look closely at the tri on the buds to see the amount of amber

@paradise-indoors i was originally guessing around October 5 was my target harvest date. Does that seem right? I don’t know if they will turn purple the temperature and humidity are too high.
