As a new grower I would stick to one decent full spectrum LED light. Stick to the basics and get a few grows under your belt. All of these recent lighting additives/theories are driven by anecdotal evidence only at this point. I’m not convinced that any of it is worth the extra time and money………YET.

Old school Ebb and Flow with rockwool. End of week 3, Solfire Gastronomical. Now the fun part begins.

3 days later. I cut out the infected branch and upped the fans and dropped the humidity as much as I could. So far so good. Fingers crossed.

Looks good but I would try to get that humidity down during flowering. Could mean problems in the future.

I can afford to lose that plat all together. Should I just remove it or should I try to remediate the mildew?

Another tip that no one really ever talks about is when they stop drinking water.

Garbage in garbage out. I try to do my pressing right after drying. No cure.

Flower: 170-180 degrees. 90-120 micron bag. I press faster than most. With a 4 gram-ish press I take about 30 seconds to get to full pressure and then about only 30 seconds at full pressure. I find that usually gets me where I want to be. Obviously different plants get different mileage.

Of course hydro store is closed on new years day. Ha. I will try to save it. This literally popped up overnight. I was doing some defoliation yesterday and definitely would have seen it. However I’ve been struggling with night time humidity the last couple of weeks. Lots of unseasonable rain and warmer winter temps. VPD was as low as .68 at night about a week ago before I fired up the dehumidifier. Meantime I just foliar spayed with diluted H2O2.
