There’s a lot of confusion about hydroponics out there.
What counts as hydro… What doesn’t… Whether it’s the best way to grow or not… How difficult or easy it can be.

Coco can be used hydroponically but it is not inert. Inert medias have no charge and are neutral like hydroton and rockwool. Coconut fiber is definitely organic matter with the same negative charge as other organic matter. There also seems to be confusion about calcium and magnesium’s relationship with coco. Unless your pH is ridiculously alkaline or acidic, the microbes will be fine. They’re soil microbes, not water microbes. Don’t leave them in water. Mix and use right away. The small volume used of Recharge solution is not going to change the pH of your media.

NEVER post pictures of just leaves. There is no context. We need to see the plant and where the issue is on the plant. Random damaged leaves say nothing.

My first and biggest rookie mistake was not letting my first Grow go to full term I chopped it at about 6 weeks and it for sure needed a lot more !!!!
