I run autos exclusively. Auto’s are not super picky about light. I have ran mine from the start at 18/6 and they do great.

Quick silly little question. What are the pros and cons of going from paper towels germination to a 5 gal grow bag as opposed to a SOLO cup to 3-5 gallon grow bags? And thank you guys for any answer you can provide.

Root mass is bigger when you up-pot a few times, in my experience. Bigger roots, bigger fruits.

Restrict the roots and you restrict the stalk’s thickness, Only relevant variable of a stem in relation to yield is girth. Height is irrelevant.

A solo cup builds a compact root system and most importantly will drink the water in the cup every day or 2. This let’s the soil dry back a little and stimulates new root growth. Too big of a container will stay wet for days and the roots can rot.

One important thing to note: Autos may do better going straight from germination to the 5 gal. I’ve now read this in multiple grow bibles.

For you guys and gals looking for something to water your plants while you are away for a few days. I took my AC Infinity self watering pots and modified it to accept a 30oz water bottle to allow a few more days before watering. It will give me 5 days before refill.

Interesting. Could it in theory be connected to a reservoir?

A true novice here! Growing my first 2 autos, don’t know the strains since I bought a mixed pack from 42 fastbud. Just a few questions. Will these rebloom after harvest? I am still not completely comfortable using the AC Infinity self watering wick pots, mainly because I have always just old school water hose so I need to see a little proof…

No reveg. Autos are one and done.

No gtrgrow71 once you harvest they done can’t clone a auto eather but a good start in your first grow is a auto that’s how I started

Autos are one and done. Can’t clone. And the size. That’s autos for you. I’ve had some become monsters. And some not worth the energy/time I put into them. The self wicking I haven’t been a fan of personally but have seen people get great results. Keep trying things out and you’ll find your groove.

A quick question about AC Infinity self watering pot bases. I have 2 in the tent. It says it waters from bottom up and covers the bottom 1/3 of the plant. Do I still need to water the top 2/3 as well?
Have never used these before and am just a little new to self watering pot bottoms. Thanks in advance!!😎

The whole point of bottom feeding is to keep surface somewhat dry to prevent pests from laying eggs on surface. You can water in anything supplemental from the top like Recharge and other biostimulants.
