4 months agoFungi 4 months agoHas anyone ever tried ordering thru southwest mushrooms? I placed an order the 22nd of last month and it’s been “ready to ship” for a while now, they don’t answer emails, and have no phone number that works. They had no problem taking my money though.

Never heard of them That blows. I hate deceptive practices. Like we got enough bs to deal with in our lives to also have to worry about every purchase we make being legit. I bought soil for my cacti. I go to review said soil; poof! Even the url and email on the soil itself is disconnected. Didn’t take a month to go under…Now i wonder…

I’ve gotten all my LCs from Etsy never had an issue. Usually 10-15$ a syringe. All viable and sterile.

I keep them in the fridge, whether it’s LC, agar or syringes.

I keep mine in a dark cubby in my fridge. I used some spores that were a year old and no problems. Much to my surprise.

Yes. 6 months ago I got my first “fable”. Now I have 3, along with 2 big ass totes, a diy HEPA setup, a library of LCM, pour my own Agar plates. It’s become my current “special interest”. I’ve always got a couple of “chambers” growing. It’s been a wonderful journey.

Perfect dry is 21 days under 60F/60%RH. Day 21 lower RH to 55-50%RH. Day 28 seal in container at 50%RH. 40ishF is perfect storage temp. Never freeze.

If you can control the temp and humidity without wild swings, then full plant will be a nice slow, even, dry/cure.
You might not need to do full plant if you’ve got it dialed in.
