I made the switch to grow dots. I want to grow next year some old school maui waui 1986 seeds i got coming from another grower. Its a 12 week finishing strain. Cant i use grow dots for it? Will it finish or need some extra food at the end? @scottyreal @jmystro

There is an “Extended “version of the dots just for that purpose

Grow Dots say to add one tablespoon grow dots per gallon of soil. If I know a strain might need a little longer, I’ll use 1.5 tablespoons grow dots per gallon of soil. The extra isn’t too much that it will burn the plant, and it’s enough to keep it going until its end. Or next time, try the extended version.

You can use Grow Dots to grow long flowering clones with no veg period. Extended release will only extend veg, not flower. Long flowering plants typically have long transition times. Grow Dots will work with 12+ week flowering plants as long as you don’t veg them. Seedlings will have a veg period before they’re sexually mature so you’d need…

If you haven’t initiated flower yet I’d also say those are autos, a week or so into flower.. Some veg longer which may explain the 2 that haven’t.. I have limited experience with photos but those I did grow didn’t start looking like that until I flipped to 12-12. @jmystro

When you don’t know the answer but want to comment anyways… @jmystro always works. 🤣

Yup, after you state “that’s just my opinion and experience, there’s people that know more though -@tag”. 🤣

I’m honestly proud of the fact that I have learned so much between here and Rasta Jeff that I rarely NEED to tag him, but I still know when I do, he’s the grower with the answer.

@jmystro I have to Apologize to you for catching an attitude about growing in CANNA COCO I figured out why I can’t afford it!!! It’s not because im on disability it’s all because I have a serious Addiction to buying seeds! I have seeds from 2019-20 that I haven’t grown yet and im steadily buying more! But I also blame it on my Seed Dealers Seeds…

No worries. We all have to start somewhere.

its a addiction…you always want the latest and the strongest, and best taste, the highest yield …dont feel like the lone ranger…

I’m in He same boat hahaha. You start learning more what you want as you grow as well..

If it helps. I learned a lot from your interaction. ✌🏻 didn’t know all that about the coco myself. I grow with coco and the canna A/B line. It can get pricy I admit. I’m going to try coco and grow dots on a plant in my next run to see how it goes. Best of luck with your gardens. ✌🏻
