• What happens if you clone a plant that is starting to show intersection because of stress?

      • Any plant showing symptoms of a hermaphrodite, you want to get rid of that plant. It is just too easy to start with something new that you know is from a reputable source

        • It will have it it’s in the genes if you think is was stress then you can re set and try but unless it’s something you really want toss it it’s hard had a monster five foot auto bigger then some photos and she Herm on me right out in the yard with her it sucks but that’s just they way it is

          • @chefmatt.a it definitely is stress. They were at my buddies in solo cups too long. Really good genetics . We have been running this cut of Billy Idol about 4 years now, but it selfed when it totally outgrew the pot and he didn’t up pot them. He flipped all his plants to flower after he upsized pots. They were in 12 12 for about 2 weeks before he asked if I wanted them. 2 days after I took them( about 18 inch plants in stretch still in solo cup) it started to show signs of intersex

            • @johnnyogrows so you know how it’s stressed it may keep it up n the clone so if you really wanna take the chance put it some where far away grow it to a mom and re clone I wouldn’t but if you really want to you can it’s your plants do you bro best of luck

          • If you clone it You get a clone of an intersex plant! That’s what happens but you could also flower it again and not see the intersex traits pop up it’s a toss up I have had a plant herm from seed but the clones I kept and flowered out again never showed any signs of male flowers!

          • Never clone a plant with intersex traits. Kill it.

            • @jmystro If everyone had your mentality we wouldn’t have Sour Diesel Chem Dawg and a bunch of other cultivars that are still known to throw nanners every now and then if they get stressed the right amount! Just saying I would never clone a Hermaphrodite plant But if it just throws the occasional male nanner in late flower or if they get stressed from a light leak I don’t have a problem with keeping them alive and growing buds if it’s A Dank Cultivar like Chem Dog or ECSD

              • @wrath420 genetic does put out dank. It’s Billy Idol

                • @johnnyogrows I’m the type of grower who doesn’t mind a seed or three in the buds if it’s a fire 🔥 genetic and it’s for me and my son to smoke 💨 so who cares if it’s got a couple of seeds if it gets you lifted and tasted good 👍 cheers
