5 months agoAsk a Grow Question 5 months agoI started six autoflowers in 2 gal fabric pots in my small tent but probably only have enough room to grow 4. If I decide to take two of them outside and put them in the ground in my garden will The Roots grow through the fabric pots into the soil, or should I leave them above ground? I’m thinking they we’ll get bigger and I’ll have to water…

could always cut the bottom off the pot if you have to. I did that then just set it on the ground and it has taken root well. I have half a pot sticking out of the ground now lol

You can bury them. Keep them raised up if it’s rainy season or go all the way down if it’s the dry season.

Agree, put the whole pot in the ground if you like. The roots will push through if there is medium to grow into. The fabric allows the root prune when they hit air, not more soil. 😁
I use fabric pots IN my 5gals buckets. I put some stones in the bottom of the bucket and they are SIPs when they get big enough. Can’t wait to see pictures. …

6 months agoAsk a Grow Question 6 months agoSo I’m new to indoor growing been growing outdoors on and off for the past 30 years. I got a new grow tent which I have full of plants in veg that I’m getting ready to switch over to flower on 12/12 in about 2 weeks. Just ordered six new autoflowers seeds and my question is can I start those seedlings in the same tent as the flowering plants…

Afaik autos will take a much light time as you give them and do their deal.
I think they would work but more is better?

I grow autos as companion plants. I always have stash, they will tolerate a lot more than some folks believe, as well. I’ve vegged photos in my auto tent and flowered in the autos normal home. I don’t even lighten their nutes….
