Hello all, I got 4 autos in my 2×4 tent now and I’ve been feeding the roots like crazy. Last week I removed the plants from the tent to clean the floor and noticed roots coming out the bottom of my 5 gallon grow bags. This has me concerned, will this hinder bud production? Should I attempt to transplant? Thoughts?

I wouldn’t transplant, I see roots do this a lot with fabric pots and the bottom feeders. I have never had an issue and the roots should air prune themselves. But I’m no pro, @jmystro is though. 😉

I had the same issues. When I first noticed there was about a foot of roots coiled in the tray. Best advice I got was to get them out of the plastic trays and get some air flowing underneath.

Tap roots don’t initiate flowering. Autos flower based on time. No photoperiod seed is going to autoflower if the tap root runs out of space. Root pruning pots allow roots that grow out of the pot to be pruned and form more roots inward.
