So I just got home from vacation for about a week. I have some bag seed here that I think is ice cream cake. This is the first decent grow I’ve been able to produce. Also first photoperiod, I believe. They’ve been in flower for almost 2 weeks now and yes they probably doubled in size while I was gone for about 5 days. Not sure what to do from here though. I think they probably need thinned out down below for air flow. The left one has always outgrown the right one. Should I cut it back also to try and maintain an even canopy as well? I’m fucking stoked about these! Been trying on and off for couple years now. These were grown in an old recipe from build a soil with grow dots added ( I wasn’t sure how well the nutrients would’ve been after sitting for almost a year) and recharge once a week. Also using optic foliar overgrow once or twice a week. Straight tap water without ph monitoring and under hlg 100rspec. Thanks in advance for any and all tips or guidance.

Personally I’d defoliate and leave the stalks. Tie them off and try for an even canopy. IMO of course, I’m new to this!

Looks like a classic need for defoliation and scrog net.
