I have a question about lighting. I’m running my lights at 14hrs to keep electricity costs down. I’m wondering, is that enough hours to prevent a photo period from flowering? I know some plants are sensitive and will trigger with 13 hours others need that 12. At 16 hrs none will trigger. Is 14hrs okay or should i bump it up to 15 hrs?… Read more

Gas Lamp veg is an option in this scenario. Also known as 12/1 lighting. Just my .02¢

Go to 16 hours of light and you’ll be fine because some plants will flower with 10 hours of darkness.

Less than 15-1/2 will generally cause flowering

Blacklight to spot fungus/mold…
Not my photo, came from Reddit. Magenta color of fungus.
Anybody else do this? Thought it was a neat tip.

You can find a lot of ‘things’ with a blacklight. It can be a useful tool and party light.
