Right I feel there is a lot of bad stigma still especially up in these small towns.

I’m in the Red River Valley near Grand Forks, ND. I’ve met one other grower locally. I’m sure there are others but not sure how to connect.

My first try scrogging I am pretty happy with the results so far. This is a Seedsman Purple Punch F1 Fast flowering at the start of week 3 of flower. I think I am gonna get more from one plant this way than I got from running 4 plants in this same tent.

Seedsman GelatOG Auto just about ready for harvest. I ran 2 of these and the other one is pretty much a loss. Might get 2 ounces off of this one if I’m lucky.

I have a 5 pack of these going now. I’m thinking 3 will be 3 oz and the other 2 will be 2-2.5 . I did more training on the lower producing ones, they didn’t like it…

Hey DGC about to run my first photoperiod since MN legalized Homegrown. I’ve had 3 decent harvest of autoflowers since 1 year ago. My question is will the ir lights from my security camera affect my grow when I’m flowing cycle?

I have cameras in my grow room, tents and drying room. I have always left the IR feature off to be safe. There so much conflicts information and bro science on the subject. I will activate night vision in the drying room once a day after the first five or six, to see how far everything has dropped, but that’s it. Haven’t had any issue, so…

The science IS there, but I leave mine on and have never had an issue that I could document “that” to be the issue. The IR for kinesiology when I he camera is activated so in my mind it is a minimal issue. I don’t watch plants for hours on my phone. I merely check things like wind, lights on/off curiosities, leaf shape (limp, cupping, taco,…

What wavelengths activate photosynthesis is certainly not bro science. Photosynthesis occurs no higher than 700 nm. Inferred is outside the range (850-940 nm). IR will not ‘wake up’ plants during the dark cycle. ‘Go to sleep’ photosystem l absorption peak is 700 nm (P700) and ‘wake up’ photosystem lI absorption peak is 680 nm (P680). Green…
