Does anyone have experience with seed to harvest with chloramine contaminated tap water? Alot of my grows have been unsuccessful so far. Im changing the last control in my next attempt so hopefully that will give me my answer. My tap is hard water. Anywhere from 350-450ppms and up to 8ph. It’s tasty no doubt😂 but im questioning its cannagrowability. Imma patent that word… Cannagrowability… Yall heard it here on thw DGC page😁

You should look in to drops of balance its the only thing I have heard of to take shit out of water I can’t say if it dose anything for cloramie I have never used it myself

I have a RO system and use two or three drops of super thrive in the 5 gal of water. It’s kinda bro science but it’s working for me. I have to use city water not really an option for me. It’s easy to use too much an and will build up if overused. Less is more kinda balance.

@marizema Yeah I’ve looked into an RO system. Im just self conscious of the waste. Luckily I can have water delivered in my location for free so I may do that.

You can even go with a really good filter just for the water you’re using on the plants and to drink and whatnot. It would be cheaper than an entire system.

My tap water is the same, grows plants in an organic media just fine. If your not growing organic and are in coco or dwc you would want at least a basic filter and to ph down. I leave my tap water in a 5 gal bucket with a cheap $6 aquarium aerator pump for 24 hrs before use to evaporate chlorine/ chloramine

I keep a 5 gallon on aeration for 24hrs then PH down from 8 to 6.5 if straight watering. The fox farm big bloom downs the PH for me when I feed the girls. So far it’s working out. I was using distilled at first but as the girls grew that was getting to be a little much. Pulling in 5 gallons of water every day gets to be a pain in the ass.
