i have that same system 1 in rdwc and dwc and yeah i added a pump to both and changed the air stones.

I agree on the space between net pot and water level, also wanted to ask about your air stone ? And or pump are you getting good strong air bubbles. I’ve bought a few kits myself and had a awful time trying to use just what they send in some of those setups. I’ve since upgraded my stones and pumps. And just about any problem I had with dwc …
