2 months agoAsk a Grow Question Will it open up? I’ve not seen a seedling do this yet. It almost looks like there isn’t two leaves there, only a single one cupped around the stem. It’s been like that for about 18 hours. Amnesia Haze auto. I was gonna bonsai it, so much wasn’t gonna come from it anyways

You can use some tweezers to slide in between the leaves and then separate them. One side of the leaves may get a little damaged but she will be fine.

@HighRunner so after like 24 hours it never opened. It was a single cotyledon leaf basically wrapped around the stem and then folded in half. There were no true leaves. The seed looked underdeveloped to begin with and I didn’t even expect it to germinate. But it did and I give all my plants a chance but I dont think it would’ve done anything. Oh well, on to the next.
