Personally, mostly because I run seeds. I just prune when the plant needs it. In order to maintain optimal airflow and light penetration to my cola sites. If you run a certain cut multiple times you can learn it’s ways and what it likes to nail down days, but I just do a major before the flip and then just prune/train almost daily…

I never share babies, but I am on the side that this is the most important time to nail it. A slow start can ruin a run, get them roots rocking and ready to pump them buds later in life. How early do you start training and how?

Nice! When mine are about 8″ tall and still in the solo cup I usually top them to start bushing them out a bit.

I let mine grow out six nodes, then chop them at the third node. This way, I’ll have a head start on the root ball. I grow roots, not vegetation. Get those roots right and the plant grows itself

…but I’ve also just started training immediately. It depends on the strain.

Depending on variety I usually top sativa leaning on 4th mode and wait until 6-8 nodes on compact varieties.
Then you have to think about the space your filling, it’s going to determine you how many toppings and bending which can start as early as 6-8” tall in my opinion

Just go for and and watch carefully. I’ve heard some people had no problems, hope you get them all stars. If you grow them please update here. I’m super interested in them.

Week 13? Whatcha growing?… if you already use soil and are used to the watering habits of soil, I would recommend to just stay with a basic soil (not loading with nutrients) and just mix the growdots with that. I am currently having an amazing run doing this. I didn’t want to make the switch to coco because it requires a bit more…
