• I’m not sure what is going on with this one. She’s been fine up until now. She’s in canna coco I gave her some canna A and B half strength and moved her into a tent from the closet. So she’s getting much better light than she was. Two days later she looks like this. Does anyone have any idea?

      • im a new grower but my initial thought is cal or mag deficiency

        • @thedottiegman Calcium deficiency will cause small brown spots initially before symptoms get worse. Magnesium deficiency causes uniform yellowing between leaf veins (interveinal chlorosis). Notice neither symptom is showing. These leaves are showing random splotching. This is caused by some physical stress/damage to the roots.

      • You moved her into a tent with brighter light so she needs more food also when you increase your light you also increase the plants need for more nutrients to be able to utilize the extra light!

        more light = more nutrients

        • I hope this is 100% pH related. Something is seriously up with the roots. The damage is not from a lack of any element. I hope it’s not some pest.

          • @jmystro thanks for your help. I’m not sure what I should do with her. I don’t see any signs of pests or anything. I think I might ph some RO water and water till I get run off. See if it helps.

            • @terpking RO has no mineral buffer so the pH will be neutral. Do not adjust the pH of RO water for testing. Water in the RO to run off and check the pH. That will give you an idea of where it’s at. Adjust from there. Never flush coco with RO water without watering in nutrients right after. RO can wash out nitrates, phosphates and sulfates.
