At the local grow shop they have grow dots at the counter. I asked the salesman about them. I asked if they got good results. He said he was so confident in the product that he gave me 4 free packs. He said if I use them with recharge, I won’t go back to how I grow now, I’ll be a lifer. He said it’s to easy, just set and forget.

That’s not 100 percent. I would run a clone with grow dots but I wouldn’t ever run any thing from seeds in grow dots. Once you start your locked in. Oh this pheno is thirsty, needs water, but it’s food sensitive? Now what? You trying to foliar irrigate lol? I’ve ran them and they can work but you get a weird pheno and you’re now fucked.

If you do get burn, not nitrogen burn but heat trama, on the leaves, what can you do? My plants are still alive and the flowers are growing. There was about a week 3 out of 4 plants stunted, but the flowers started growing again. These are the worst kollas on each plant. They’re all different strains.

I’ve started putting them on the porch from 3 to 6 in the evening. They’re still getting their maximum light exposer. The sun has such high ppfd.

Just an update. The girls made it thru. We got out of the 100 degree weather. It’s looking like it’s done for the summer. Flowers are progressing again. Lots of tricomes. Flowers are getting dense and are growing again. The ladies were stunted from the heat for two weeks, but they bounced back.you can see how damaged the leaves are. They took a beating.

How early in flower do leaves start losing color and nutes particularly nitrogen?
-
Depends on strain quite a bit, but also how many nutrients are left in the soil and if those nutrients are bioavailable or tied up. Too high of pH or too much salt can cause this earlier as well.

Chlorophyll production should not slow down until the plant starts to ripen. This occurs as the plant produces the hormone ethylene late in flower. You shouldn’t see leaves fade until the last few weeks of flower.

A lot of heavy leaning Indicas will turn purple early into flower and then on to yellow and red

I need help. My leaves on 2 of my 4 outdoor plants are brown on the edges. It’s been 100+ degrees for a week. I topdressed 4 days ago with roots organic terp tea bloom mix 3-7-4. I also added a pesticide called Orthene in the soil for thrips my grow store recommended. I’m in the early/middle of flower. Any educated help is welcome.

Looks like they got to hot in the sun I had to put a shade block over my girls so they won’t have that happen to them

What can you do about thrips in flower. I noticed when I watered they were in the soil of one plant.

Well, what I would do… Soil drench with A product like Monterey, that contains Spinosad. Since I also have pryrethrum always in stock I would also do a round of that in the soil. Now I do this already in my greenhouse just because, but, if I was really worried about something in the soil, I would put a wrap on the trunk and put some tanglefoot…
