Question my fellow pot heads. When using canna coco for the first time is it better to spread it throughout the soil or layer the bottom. I’m also using Stash and grow dots?

Any recommendations for what to grow in 2025? I wanna run BAS 3.0 in 27gallon totes under a 680W Mammoth LED. I’m a VA grower and this area tends to be about 1 year behind West Coast trends. I’m leaning (blindly) towards Permanent Marker.
