First time growing in beds indoors. Extremely overwatered a bed (45 gl tote). Beginning of week 8.
What are my chances of making it to harvest (approx 13 days)? The bed literally has standing water and the worms are all coming to the surface.
(I will definitely water by hand next time lol)

Depending on your budget, you can sacrifice the tote and drill a drain hole. Might even be able to plug it back up when done. I mean, the tote’s probably more replaceable than that entire plant and your time.

@pacnw-dan Looks like I’m gonna have to. The girls in that tote do NOT look happy at all right now.
Time to break out the shop vac.
(I told Scotty R. I’m always making the dumbest mistakes…like forgetting to turn the water off.)

I would try my best to drain it. I’m no expert though, I’m on my first run and have killed 3 ladies already

Can you try to add more dry medium to the top and mix it in maybe to absorb?

@ogsydthesquid Nah, bro. It’s FULL of water! Lol

UPDATE: So, I went ahead and drilled holes in the tote. I collected 2 – 5gl buckets of water that drained from the holes with a shop vac. 😳
Zero worms were harmed in the draining of the bin. (They were all at the top so they could breathe)
The girls obviously do not look happy with me, but they’ve relaxed now. No damage seems to be done except a little advanced yellowing. (Like a week ahead of schedule)
Ive switched the light back to 18/6 (Rasta Jeff style) to push them through to finish, as well as opened the tent for the full 18hrs. to help evaporation. (In AZ, so the air is super dry)
Special thx goes to @pacnw-dan for the simple solution. I was on edibles and couldn’t think straight. I just kept thinking how stupid I was, and how funny that is. (200mg). I got right on it last night when my head cleared.

…I wasn’t worried about the bud. I was more concerned about the hundreds of worms in those bins. Seems like they’re thriving since I saw a ton of babies come to the surface
