Newb here. I have some random seeds from despensary bud I have bought overtime. I figured I would use them as my starter plants into growing (without any knowledge of what seed is what makes that a bad idea probably lol. Anyways this plant sprouted may 1st and has been through enough hell to make Johnny 5 go from short circuit to long circuit lol(90s movie reference). I topped it, overwatered it, supercropped it to rough and snapped it above the bottom 3 nodes but shes still going strong lol. I figured I would try to keep her alive as long as possible just to get an idea for keeping them alive. The pot was way to big so i put it in a small one yesterday where I tore some roots accidentally so its a bit droopy now. But anyways what is causing this lightening of the green? It is happening on the tops throughout the whole leaves and around the edges of the fan leaves?

What are you growing in? Also what nutrients are you using?

@farmville fairly inert soil and using the general hydroponics maxiseries nute line. currently on maxigrow. just started the nutes when the soil lost nutes

I would get a cal mag bottle supplement. I did some research on that line. People use that line along with a cal mag supplement when they were getting results like you

The inter-veinal chlorosis (yellowing between leaf veins) is a sure indicator that magnesium is not on the uptake. That does not mean it is not present. The yellowing leaf margins (edges) could be indicating a poor uptake of potassium. Both of these could be caused by improper PH or an out of balance calcium level. Be sure you have a good idea what you already have in there before adding any or all or them. Often a shot of magnesium sulfate (epsom salts) can help. A little extra magnesium is way less harmful than too much calcium. “Calmag” can often make things worse.
