• What can you do about thrips in flower. I noticed when I watered they were in the soil of one plant.

      • Well, what I would do… Soil drench with A product like Monterey, that contains Spinosad. Since I also have pryrethrum always in stock I would also do a round of that in the soil. Now I do this already in my greenhouse just because, but, if I was really worried about something in the soil, I would put a wrap on the trunk and put some tanglefoot on it. Anything that crawls out of the ground is going to crawl up the trunk or bamboo stakes. I also smear tanglefoot on those.

          • @RASUFA Oh, my silly little friend with a big unit, I don’t spray anything outside my greenhouse. And I only use diatomaceous earth under my insect netting in my vegetable garden. I’m not about to kill any of my soldiers! What kind of a captain would I be?

          • Thrips are my bane. They are all over my yard and always hitching a ride indoor on me somewhere
