5 weeks agoAsk a Grow Question More of a management question. Those of you with furry friends. How do you keep she’d hair out of the grow space? I have 2 Aussies that produce an incredible amount of fur and she’d constantly. They are not allowed into the grow room and I keep the dust bunnies to a minimum in the house. Yet I still get hair on the flowers. Wtf? I’m thinking it’s mostly transfer from my clothing while I’m tending? So lab coat or tend naked?😅 seriously what do yall do?

@frogslayer I really think it’s from my clothing. I’m constantly in my 5×5 tending. I think I’m gonna seriously try a lab coat. I’m not selling so it’s just an inconvenience to me. But I’m still tired of it lol

AC infinity makes screen covers for your ductwork or a filter box. I had to get some because I have 3 cats. But I’m taking air from my house into a separate room attached to the house that’s sealed.

@SurferDad_grows I’ve got a hepa filter on the intake fan. It doesn’t collect hair on it either. But thanks it’s a good thought

Could use a lint roller before entering the grow area maybe? Try and do bud tending right after showering maybe?

just imagine having to get into something like that everytime you go in your tent. on the plus side it gets you in the right mood 🤣

I have a older husky that sheds pretty much non stop so I feel ya! She doesnt normally go to my grow room unless she needs to go out or something but i do occasionally find a “Molly hair” , but i vacuum like once a week and keep my room acara. (As clean as reasonably achievable). Never had a complaint, but Ive probably eaten more of her hair than inhaled! Lol, good luck!

It’s from the central air system and your body. I had same trouble in past. Ended up just turning all the buds into bubblehash. Turned out nice 👌
Now cats live outside lol

@SurferDad_grows funny try story. Years ago. Was tending with my partner. I had to check a small spot on my own and meet up with him. When I got to him he’s out there butt ass naked working. Fucker had found some mushrooms on the way in and was tripping. Our other partner was like why are you back so fast and where’s…? 😂
but yes Ive figured out it’s most likely my shirts so now I go in with board shorts
