      • Seems to me I’ve read myco works best when in contact with the roots.

Extreme gardening mykos is what I use for transplant, they make a granular and a powder that can be mixed in water. I used to use the granular but it was difficult to get it to stick to the root ball so now I use the powder and put it in a spray bottle with water and pop the plant out and spray the crap out of the roots and the transplant hole. Top off with soil. I’ll use the extra water in the bottle to wet the top soil right around the transplant then finish watering in with a recharge solution. Also use a light recharge and tap water solution to soak my paper towels for germinating seeds and on rockwool cubes for clones. It’s never to early to get the roots surrounded with beneficial bacteria.

          Look at the fuzz.

          • @backyard-boogie Thank you. I popped 3 straight into the cups and saturated em all with 2.5oz of recharge tea. Didn’t plan on using it again until transfer. Does that sound like a decent practice? Im glad I bought the recharge because the ph pro mix I bought was almost 2 yrs old. Recharge happens to have the exact strain withing it that pro mix has plus more.

          • Recharge is a bit too concentrated to add directly to roots. It’s best to mix Recharge in water and use it right away. The microbes would be fine to add directly, it’s just the other additives in recharge that need to be diluted like the kelp.
