      • No personal experience but maybe try Silicium? It’s another product available on the phive8 website same people who do the new millenium.

        • Silica Blast from Botanicare works great with other brands of nutrients and is very affordable!

          • If you’re looking for something more expensive try out the Armadillo Armor from Cronk nutrients or Silicium from phive8

            • Wollastonite W-20 vanisil. Or just waste your money on some advertising.

              • I’m not the best grower but I think you should look for straight silicic acid. That’s what Scotty recommended

                • Ive been eyeballing the trifecta myco. Does anyone have any insight on this particular product?

                • I don’t personally smoke sand. But if I did, it would be mono silicic acid. https://urbanrootstampa.com/products/silicium

                  • @jmystro I’m a new grower any reason as to why you say that? I’m genuinely just curious, I don’t know much about it I thought It promoted stronger leaves more bug resistant plant mass. And a more resistant “immune” system? Or was it sarcasm 😂

                    • @GrowingGreen Silica is sand so it adds weight. Silica can help protect the plant by aiding calcium in strengthening cell walls that can minimally help against some bugs, a bad environment and such but that’s not something I personally need help with indoors. My plants don’t need assistance and like I said, I don’t smoke sand. 😜

@jmystro dude are you serious lol, its a soluble form of silica, which builds cell walls, it’s sand when it’s not soluble, it’s a very good product to use, def recommend it, go for the cheaper stuff like cyco silica, dune is a high end acid stabilised version, if u got the bucks, best one to have, reg silica polymerizes within 72 hrs, u need to use it quickly (target is 17ppms of Si, from dr bugbee)) great video on silica: look for Silicon and silicates in hydroponics

                  • Here’s the real question, has any one ever actually seen a silicate deficiency? Seems like a marketing gimmick to take more growers money. I don’t know anyone that uses it or ever has needed to. $$$ and amendments and even love doesn’t grow these plants. Give them a good environment and let them grow, they’ll let you know what they need.

@frogslayer It’s naturally found in the ground, right? At least some form or trace. Why could I not utilize this as well?

it’s not a deficiency I’m looking for but stronger cell walls and a more resistant plant.

                      • @frogslayer Silica is not an essential element so you’ll never see a deficiency as it’s never needed.
