      • A dechlorinator. Next time just use Lost Coast Plant Therapy on every surface for like a week. That shit kills the hell out of Spider Mites.

        • @GuppyGirl remove the habitat entirely the mites are living in or you will likely never win. I remove pests from yards for a living and the main most effective combat is to change the environment and promote good cultural practices. Post infestation insecticides should be a last resort hail Mary, preventatives and good cultural practices have the least impact on the environment and are definitely the most effective.

        • I use peroxide inside and let it dry and then slather a generous coating of Growers Ally on everything, including the outside, outside. I hate breaking them down but I do it every six months if there’s a problem or not.

A bleach solution or chlorine containing solution is what you need for sure. It’s the only way to fight any fungus or virus. No other cleaner besides maybe ozone flooding will do this. You do not need a dechlorinator as these are not fish under water but plants surrounded by air in a tent. The chlorine will be gone faster than you can grow a plant in there I promise you. My operating procedure is as follows, wash and dry the carbon filter pre filter, wash and dry the intake pre filter, dust the whole tent with a Swiffer duster from top to bottom. Wipe every single surface and suspension cable and electrical cords and lights and and inside of ducts and fans with disinfecting wipes or bleach spray and towels or some disinfecting technique that would be used in a hospital. Let it sit for a few minutes, then shut the tent up and run the lights on high until the tent hits 104 then turn on the fan and chill her down. That’s my personal reset process and I’ve had great success. Virus and fungi are hard to kill. Alcohol won’t even cut it. Chlorine is the way…

          • Ive been using window cleaner followed by lysol wipes with success for a couple years. (Knock on wood). Need to ensure whatever you use doesn’t adversely affect your tent wall material! (I.e.- melt it, dull finish, etc). After i have everything wiped down to include fans, lights, cords, outlets, then i close the tent up for a few days before starting again. Just me
