I added the two light bar AC Infinity UVA setup for my latest grow. I grow mainly in a 4 x 2 x 5 tent. I figured if you could get that much closer to the sun’s spectrum would be advantageous. It is. I also run a single GE Fruit and Flower red bulb.
The lights move readily through the tent due to it’s magnetic backs. (The cord is long enough to reach to the farside of the tent.) I also have a Growbuds scrog setup which has a metal frame that clips to the tent poles which allows another angle. The lights also come with metal “backers” to allow the lights to be magnetically attached almost anywhere in the grow as long as you can reach the outside of the tent. (In some cases this might be a two man job.)
As far as does it work? I’m not sure, but I figured closer to the sun’s spectrum can’t hurt.
These bars are UVA with two slightly different areas of the spectrum.
I think the idea is this light causes slight stress in the plant with a thc/cannabinol reactions. If you add a UVB light the reaction is multiplied(?) I think I read you can’t run UVB constantly as it will burn the plant. Also read…UVB only works in

Cfl or a florescent tubes. They have a 5 or 10 rating…10 being for desert lizards and 5 for tropical lizards. I have no idea which one is proper.
At this point there are no effective led for UVB but I’m sure someone is working on it.

@downsouthlongmont I was just learning about bearded dragons and they talked about that very thing. I’m going to bring one of those dudes into my grow room for some company and a little constant co2 production.
