3 weeks agoAsk a Grow Question Hey guys can you help me identify this. It’s in my cover crop no cash crop in pot yet. My question is: is this beneficial mycelium.

It’s hard to tell from the photo as it gets compressed when you upload. But it looks like mould spores to me. If it’s only on dead material it’s most likely just a decomposition fungi. Kind of looks like it’s on some growing leaves in the second pic… Nothing solid sorry…

@MelonFarmer thank you for the response I really appreciate it! I’ll look tomorrow but I don’t think it is on any live plant. Hopefully it’s nothing to worry about I am going to transplant into there at the end of the week.

@dadsgrow505 things can get funky in soil so you’ve always got to be watching. It can be a fine balance between letting mother nature her do her thing and also encouraging her to show favouritism towards our favourite ladies hahaha
