Nice work guppy… what ya growing?
1-
@no-nanners The buckets contain:
2x Cherry Paloma (J R Token cut)
1x Purple Zikigai
1x Rainbow Berries
1x Lemon Jeffrey #1
1x Dark Phoenix
The first 5 were breeders cuts. The Dark Phoenix is from seed.
These are mostly Raw Genetics – except for the Dark Phoenix, which is from the Green House Seed Co, and the Lemon Jeffrey #1 which came direct to me from Rasta Jeff of IRIE Genetics.
I use Real Buckets, Grow Dots, and Recharge, in Canna Coco Coir. That’s basically everything I use that isn’t lights, timers, or monitoring the environment.

@GuppyGirl nice, you have quite a selection going!!!! Dying to get some of JRs stuff. Does he do seeds? I’m weary about clones.

@no-nanners Most of his stuff comes from RAW Genetics

@GuppyGirl awesome I’ll check it out. Thank you 🙏

@no-nanners you’ll be happy! I recommend getting their unrooted slips. For 150 you get 3 to 4 cuttings, and all of mine rooted. The Rainbow Berries and Purple Zikigai I got 4 unrooted slips, the Cherry Paloma I got 3. All 11 rooted.
Here’s how I root those.
1. You will need CloneX rooting hormone, or similar if you prefer a different brand.
2. CloneX (or similar) Aerocloner nutrient, the stuff that dilutes one oz to a gallon.
3. 24 seat Aerocloner. I know this sounds like a lot, but honestly I wish I had bought one of those 110 seat ones. You do you.
4. A number 11 Scalpel blade, per group of slips. Change the blade when you move from one cultivar to the next.
5. Your preferred Scalpel handle if you aren’t using disposables in step four.
Procedure:
0. Wash your hands well, ensuring you get the fronts, backs, and under your nails.
1. Don clean nitrile gloves.
2. Assemble the Scalpel if necessary.
3. Place the first set of slips on your work surface, and cut through the bottom most node at a 45 degree angle. Try to cut it exactly in half like that.
4. If the cutting is thick enough, as lightly as possible, scrape the bottom 1/4″ of the skin of the slip right above where you bisected the bottom node.
5. Pour some rooting hormone out of the bottle into a container, unless you already have some in a tube or solo cup or whatever, and dip the cut and scraped end into the rooting hormone.
6. Place the ship in a neoprene collar, and place it in the aero cloner.
7. When you finish the first group of slips, change out both the Scalpel blade, and the rooting hormone. This will help prevent cross contamination between cultivars.
8. Leather, Rinse, Repeat until done.

@GuppyGirl awesome!!! Thank you again!

@GuppyGirl hey are you talking about a bubble cloner? I have one of those that I barely used….i may have been using it wrong though in the beginning.
-
-
@GuppyGirl this is the one I have in my grow house I think…. I used it once and then put it back up. I’ll check it out in the morning, I’m using the circulator from it in my reservoir tank because it doesn’t heat the water when stirring
-
@no-nanners that’s exactly what I use.
