With all jokes aside how often should I really need to add CalMag i PH my water at 6.0 my waters ppm reads 101. Feeding with grow dots and recharge weekly in Fox Farm Happy Frog soil 2 gallon fabric pot.
I have been adding a low dose every other watering if I don’t my Northern Light starts getting small rust spots then after given a dose of CaMag again it clears right up

You don’t need it. Grow Dots are nutritionally complete.

@GuppyGirl just use recharge every other or every 2nd watering. Shouldn’t need it

Not to be rude but honestly how much grow experience do you have because I was talking to Kyle Kushman a little while giving him full details of my grow and he’s saying the opposite that I should be adding it every other watering if not every watering up until two weeks before harvest. As I stated when it is not used I’m immediately getting rust spots and yes my soil PH is on point at 6.3-6.5. So again not to be rude but what is your skill level?

@oldestschool the point is I didn’t know better when I asked so how is that rude and I have no idea her experience level she never replied I’m a member of several groups the point of me asking in this one to start with is Scotty is the grow dot man and was more less looking for an experienced opinion

This and ever cannabis site is a community of folks trying to grow and dying to share. Most see something in a video from some alpha dogs , with the looks and charisma and they think they know what they’re talking about cuz they seen it or heard it. I’m guilty of that myself. Repeating what they’ve heard. It’s interacting that’s all. And if you spent any real time in 1 community, getting to know who’s who. By at least reading and liking their stuff even if it’s just for support and spreading smiles and good will.
Words and texts can hurt and sometimes damage. We all should be more humble on what we say and text to each other. At least reread our stuff for typos. Just to make sure for misused words and meanings. There is a little love in everybody. Maybe it’s just easier for me cuz all I can and get to do is sit here all day and read everybody stuff, smoking my brains out on the cheapest stuff there is. Maybe, that’s way I’m jumping in trying to defend, cuz I myself have texted in Anger and ignorance before. Thinking I was right, or better 🤔 so I’m just saying

I’ve had a few exactly like that, where they got it every other watering. 1 strain in particular (zkitlles) got a dose every time after they started flowering, without it they never would’ve survived to harvest. I have a Green Crack auto going now that’s getting 5ml/gal every water. I was hitting it every other but like you said by the time it got more symptoms had gone away and came back. I think I’m ahead of it now but a lot of damage has already been done.
