Question on Grow Dots: I’m currently in week 5 of veg, intending to move the plants and flip to flower in the next 2 weeks (mid week 6). I’ve been out of town on vacation for the past 7 days, returning tomorrow.
Given I didn’t have anyone to take care of the plants (soil, all 3 gals, one 5 gal) I dropped the veg light intensity to 20%, which kept the plants from needing water all week (a person just checked and noted they’re all happy and turgid). They basically remain in “stasis”.
But this now begs one question: Since I’ve basically kept the plants in stasis during this past week, did I also keep the Grow Dots in the same level of stasis? In other words, will they now transition to flowering nutes around week 7 instead of week 6?
Or should I still be flipping on the original schedule of next week? Just wondering if there’s no new water and barely any growth, if I also extended the Grow Dots cycle right along with it?
melonfarmer, ohigrow and 4 others-
Your plants absorb moisture & nutrients at different levels depending upon your lights intensity.
So yes this would affect how much your plant absorbed, however the amount is likely still negligible & I would say maybe wait 5 days if you want be safe, my personal preference is in a situation like this to give them a bit more time but not long just enough to see good vigor signs.
Every grower is different. Take it easy.

Adjust lights back up slowly over those 5 days don’t burn your girls!
