I’m feeling bad, please help.
I’m in the last week, final flush.
I have found one seed, one rogue seed, did a comprehensive search and could not see any more or any more forming.
Has anyone else experienced this?
I googled it and got conflicting results.
Should I expect more at harvest time?
I had a herm last grow but was sure I cleaned the space properly, bugger.
militan3471, gypsylee and 4 others-
This has happened to me here and there. You have nothing to worry about.

@mrtimbobway thanks for the input.
I really appreciate it.
Soul destroying, as you can probably guess.
I’ll be ending all the strains I am doing this run anyway and starting fresh with a Runtz Muffin.
If it’s genetics that should sort it and I’ll give the tent another good clean before I flower the RM.
Cheers, man.

I’ve had the same issue multiple times. In my case I believe it was my environment. I wasn’t able to control the temps and humidity very well and I think the plants were stressed. It definitely wasn’t as bad as I initially thought (maybe 20 seeds out of 10-12 ounces) but definitely disheartening.

@danknuggardens Same here danknug.. think it probably start mid flower which wasn’t much time for the seeds to mature/viable.

I read somewhere.. I think it was that Mel Frank ,Ed rosenthal book back in the day that sometimes a plant will stress itself in defense of making no seeds and it will create a seed on its own. Its pretty brilliant self defense mechanism that assures the plant will never go extinct. I have had seeds here and there for last 30 years in my sinsi crops and always seen em as lil blessings. At first I thought it was light leaks or something cause youll only find one or two seeds in like half lb or so

It happens. Keep an eye out for more. But I’ve harvested many plants with a few seeds in them. My mentor used to swear that they were more potent than sterile buds. It takes about 5-7 weeks for seeds to mature, so I wouldn’t be too worried about finding handfuls of you haven’t already. If they’re there, they’re already there.

Plants self themselves due to stress in the environment or the uncontrollable urge to reproduce. Nothing to worry about. Bag seed rules modern cannabis genetics. Toke on!

An occasional seed isn’t a problem. Remember, cannabis’ #1 goal, for itself, is to survive to “next season” and to make seeds. Everything we do in our grows tries to deny the plant that goal. Sometimes, it will win just a tiny bit.
Pull the seed, smoke the flower, and enjoy.

Just in my personal experience my last run it was I ran same three strains they were clones also and only on this last run I found maybe 3 or 4 seeds out of a wall to wall 4×4 tent. Maybe I had a light leek, or for one day my timer was unplugged and it got 24 hours of light for a day in mid flower. I was not sure what actually caused them but like I said I found about 3 fully mature seeds out the 4×4. I did save them and I think I’m going to try and pop one and see how it turns out. The strain was jelly breath by the way.

Grow the seed bubba you never know what you will get

If you get one seed from a plant, it’s the plant’s way of rewarding you for giving it a good life. And you get to grow it again. If you get more than one you did something wrong or genetics.
