• Leave Clawing Upward.

This is the first time I’ve encountered this growing. She’s the only girl in the room who’s upset. Day 15

of flower, Organic amendments(living soil organics) Recharge, ruby fulvic/carbo, silicium, and epsome salts, under HLG350. Humidity 60% Temps are day 77f, night 65f.

I did use new mill decision day one of flower.

What could be the cause and how do I correct it.

      • Looks like a classic case of light stress bud….I don’t know how close your hlg is?

But personally I run mine closer to 36 inches from canopy because I crank that sucker up during 12/12 ..if your grow doesn’t have enough CO2 with them l.e.d lights pumping out photons in flower it’s easy to have those symptoms. So look at your hanging distance from canopy or your mat need to turn down the intensity.

        • For the leaves to curl like that it could be a few things. Light stress doesn’t wilt leaves that quick. Low humidity could cause this. I hope it’s an environmental issue. Something attacking the roots is also a possibility (pests, root rot, etc).

          • @jmystro it happened over a 48hr period, between watering, last watering was recharge and a fresh top dress.

I did use winter frost in the last cycle and I reuse my soil. This is the first time I did plug and play this time I cut out the root ballin the correct proportions and replanted no till ish.

Im still battling spider mites even though I haven’t seen any, doesn’t mean they’re not there, but this doesn’t look like spider mite damage. I’m at a loss here.

            • @paddy-o-toker Small issues show up slowly. Big issues pop up fast. This is 100% root related. If the humidity and temperature are acceptable, it’s not environmental. It’s not nutritional. Root rot or root pests can cause leaves to wilt in a day or two. Dig up some soil and smell it first to see if there’s any bad or rotten smell. Also get a scope to search for root pests. Organic inputs are often times how you unknowingly bring in pests. They don’t always come in on dirty clones.

              • @jmystro ok I checked the soil dug down 6 in into the side wall no anaerobic or rotten smell, everything smelled normal. I dug in what I removed scoped at 60x didn’t see anything out of the ordinary or much at all. She is progressing into bud set nicely for being day 18. How should I proceed?

              • @paddy-o-toker The very bottom of the pot could be staying too wet causing a little root rot down there. If the entire root system was under attack the whole plant would wilt. For leaves to curl there needs to be some physical stress on the roots or leaves. Heat, low humidity stress or root damage can cause a similar reaction by the leaves.

                • @jmystro I have dug down about 6-8” and smelled the soil all smells good. Potentially a bit over watered and I have corrected that. Is she worth saving? Starting week 4 of flower and the bud set still looks good.

            • I would also give her Recharge to help her recover from the light stress.
