• Great show about the eternal question of “bigger buds”, loads of variables covered.

On the subject of Coco dry back I used to let my substrate dry completely, without plant wilting, once a week.

I now water every day just enough to create a little run off and I get much better results using this method, medium is 30% perlite. I’ve read that Canna© do not advise using perlite with their professional, buffered Coco so my next run will be 100% Canna Professional and I’ll monitor their results.

Getting amazing results using their Coco range of nutrients.

I don’t even pH or EC my nutrients, I just mix up what I need, let it stand for about an hour and in we go.

I have never experienced any nutrient burn or deficiency, been doing this for years so it’s not luck or a mistake.

We must have really good tap water here? I let my tap water stand for 24 hours before I mix my next batch, again another controversial one, some say it evaporates some of the chlorine from the water, I just do it out of habit now and the water gets to room temperature. One guarantee is my tap water is bloody cold and would shock the living daylights out of a flowering plant.

      So experiment wise this time:

Strain hunt. Looking for a fruity daytime smoke. Got Blue ZuShi and RS#11 on the go with my staple Back to the Future.

Doing a solo cup experiment also. Need to read up on maintaining that small rootball, maybe increase the Cannazyme, hopefully that will keep turning the root over and maintain health?

      Cerebral splurge over…
