3 months agoAsk a Grow Question Changing light schedule
Im interested in changing my flower light schedule but wonder if i could have any issues as a result. Currently im running 9:30am – 9:30 pm but i want to shift to 7pm-7am. Im doign perpetual grows so i cant just wait it out. Secondly if i can make the change would it be best to run 24 hours of dark or 24 hours of ligbt or would i need to gradullay shift 1 or two hours at a time.

24 hours of dark! RJ just covered this on a recent podcast.

Switching schedules is not a problem for most strains during flower. Just make sure to give them extra long dark period instead of extra long day of light during flower.

Yep. Let them stay the extra time in darkness and flip the lights on when you’re ready, and go back to 12/12
