3 months agoAsk a Grow Question How do you kill the smell in your grow room and lung room? I understand carbon filters and have them in my tents. But my question is how do you kill the smell of trimming and drying in your lung room and when your working on the plants for trimming or lolloping?

U could maybe trim on the tent or ling room

You could scrub the air in your lung room with a large carbon filter. But the lung room would almost have to be sealed in order for to completely remove the smell.

Positive pressure in a room will push air/smell out while negative pressure in a room will suck air in. Try to create a vacuum of negative pressure in any room you don’t want leaking smell.

thanks for the input everyone. I’m not in a good state. Everything I am doing is for myself and only me. So everything is on the down low unfortunately. I think what I am going to do is push pressure into my grow area from the lung room by my A/C and a filtered fan unit I made up.. I have carbon filters for my tents and I have one extra that I am going to use to take the air out of the grow area to the exterior. I believe that would be positive pressure to both rooms. Lung room to the grow room and the grow room out. After the carbon filter in the duct system goin out I built a detachable filter that I can pull out of the inline duct. I fill it with dry sheets. The air that comes out smells like dryer sheets. Just like an old Toilet paper roll with dry sheets. Trick from my younger days. Works perfect. I can send a picture if anyone wants to build one. This would work in any duct systems I think. Maybe for apartments or situation like I have. Box of dryer sheets is pretty cheap>

Plant some citronella outside. That will help keep bugs out too. Mentholanium smells like viks menthol. Alot of pungent plants out their see what your local greenhouse nursery has to offer. Other then that just more filters. Iv heard burn a bag of popcorn works too

Check out the Ozium website. That stuff works good. Spray around yourself before exiting room. Boom! Your good. Ozone generators are also an option. Happy growing

My main problem is that I live in a state that its illegal. I’m a veteran and use it to deal with some after issues of combat. Its just to expensive to keep buying it every week from the black market. This state will be the last one to go legal. Great for everything else here just not this. So thats the reason why I’m try my best to cut all smells down in my lung room and grow room. I’m going to try the positive pressure from the lung room to the grow room them out of the grow room to outside. Thanks for all the insight.
