I’m curious to know if anybody else adjusts their daytime nighttime temperatures. Currently in flower I’m running my nighttime temp at about 70°F and my daytime temperature at about 80 Fahrenheit. I have a heater running into my tent and so each night I go in and adjust the temp down and then in the morning, I kick it back up. I’ve read that it is good to have a temperature differentiation. Just curious what other people do.

Hotter temps during the day than night is considered a positive difference while hotter temps at night than the day is considered a negative difference. Your plants will grow fine with a 10 degree difference in either direction. The closer you can get the difference to zero the better. Stable is always better. My rooms stay the same temperature and relative humidity consistently day and night for optimum growth.

Colours are often brought on by cooler night temps. So you could just create a difference in the last few weeks of flower. But, if you do, be sure you have good control over your RH because it will climb as the temp drops. If you hit your dew point in late flower it could prove fatal.

What you’re doing is perfect. Having a swing in temps helps cannabis keep it’s natural circadian rhythm in order and it helps with the fade. We now know It’s not just from cooler temps but also that the plant keeps a better circadian clock and fades much more consistently. ✌️
