Old bag seeds
I still have a handful of bag seeds, 15-20, given to me back in 2017-2018 when I first tried to grow. I soaked them in a cup of water hoping they would pop while floating. Most sank within the first 24 hours. After 72 hours only 4 remained floating. None popped. I currently have them in a wet paper towel in a plastic coffee container. looks like some are starting to sprout. Probably going to get some seed starter mix tomorrow and plant all of them and see what happens. I do not have a seed starting mat, but I do have several 3d printers I can use to keep them warm. Any sprouts will be grown out just for practice.

Hey why dont you try out the “hydrogen peroxide wash” method! it highly increases the chances of popping seeds, especially old seeds!
i use a 1/2 part ratio of hydrogen peroxide(3%) to water and leave the seeds i want to pop in them for 30mins – 1hr, rinse them off with water, then place them in germination (whatever method)

Lol. Maybe next time. I have several that look like they split. Just waiting for the taproots to emerge. Great name yourself!
